| DESCRIPTION: | Play popular boardgames online at Brettspielwelt ("World of Boardgames"), a German site (but an English version is available!). The games include: Backgammon, Lost Cities, Manhattan, Manitou, Carcassonne, Settlers of Catan, Bazaar, Bluff, BohnDuell (Mankala), Ghosts, Hallali, Tichu, Turnit, Verraeter, Cant Stop... and more! Nice interface, allowing you not only to play boardgames, but as a registered user (free) you automatically become part of the World of Boardgames role-play. You will find towns in this world, which were created by other users and are under user administration. Each Town receives it's own Webspace and Bulletin Board. Four users are needed to create a new town. After the inauguration any user can play in this town and become a citizen. (A Java client for win/Mac/Linux can be downloaded but is not required). |
